DeForest Park Neighborhood Association along with Vice Mayor Rex Richardson will be hosting the California Earth Authority at DPNA’s meeting on Thursday, August 16 (save the date – details TBA). California Earthquake Authority’s presentation offers insight on what communities and businesses can do to prepare for an earthquake, and what recovery steps to take following a natural disaster. They will also touch on their organization’s exciting new programs and initiatives launched this year. Additionally, the presentation covers a historical perspective on earthquakes in California, where major earthquake faults are located and other pertinent facts and figures.
